Horse Clinics
Performance and Partnership!
Horse clinics are a great way for you and your horse to develop a stronger horse-human relationship, build your confidence and your horse's, find solutions for training and behavior problems, and enjoy time with your horse and other horse-loving people! BRING YOUR BAREFOOT HORSES!! I am a strong believer in barefoot. I will not tell you that you need to shoe your horse if he comes for a clinic. I am also happy to share my insight into how a healthy hoof contributes to the overall health and longevity of your horse and improve his ability to perform.
The "Leadership and Connection Series" Clinics
Is your relationship with your horse as good as it could be, or do you wonder how far you and your horse can go together? There is always room for improvement in every horse-human relationship. Join me for this clinic and you will come away with a better understanding of your horse. You will become the calm, confident, and effective leader that your horse will respect, trust, and be willing to follow anywhere.
Learn how to have the cooperative and connected partnership with your horse that you’ve always wanted! My techniques are based on the principles of natural horsemanship, but my approach is unlike anything you've seen before. They are straightforward, and easy for both you and your horse to understand. I emphasized softness and relaxation. It is low-stress (for horse and human alike), and suitable for all breeds, disciplines, and levels of experience. Leadership and Connection: The Round Pen - You will learn how to create a trusting and respectful leader/follower relationship with your horse at liberty. Also develop your horse's confidence and balance, and create a relaxed and receptive emotional state.
Leadership and Connection: The Groundwork - You will learn the principles of "Performance Through Partnership"™ and gentle low-pressure techniques that will make your horse see you as a herd leader he will willingly follow anywhere.
Leadership and Connection: From the Saddle - Apply "Performance Through Partnership" techniques while you're riding to navigate a series of obstacles while your horse remains calm, relaxed, and focused.
These are the best relationship building opportunities you will ever spend with your horse!
Here's What Clinic Participants Have to Say
WOW, and thank you! We can't wait till we can come to another clinic. Despite it all, I wanted to let you know how those few hours changed our lives! Our lead mare is following our every step much easier now. On most days she is much calmer and on days she's not, we actually see her look to us before she has a meltdown. Just a little backing and tension and release ( which comes easier to her now) and she is back to being brave! You're the best! T&K Kelly, TN The Sat/Sun Clinic was fabulous. Your methods of communicating and achieving partnership with horses are both uncomplicated and extremely effective. The calm, attentive, and cooperative attitude you produce between horse and handler enables the partners to enjoy facing new challenges together. What great confidence building for each of the pair. Many thanks from me and my four partners, S. Harris, TN
